Why we're building this

This started with my own mum. When she needed a bit of help at home, I found out how hard it is to find someone you can trust — and how alone you're left to sort it.

Scotland gives families a budget to arrange their own care. But it hands you that budget and very little else — no easy way to find the right carer, check they're safe, sort the paperwork, or keep an eye on how things are going.

So we're building the thing I wish I'd had. Cùram Taic — Gaelic for care and support — will help Ayrshire families find good local carers, handle the awkward bits, and see how every visit went, all in one place.

If that sounds like something you need, add your name below. We'll keep you posted — and we'd love your help shaping it.
